Fleck's background includes a chief talent officer role for the town of Gilbert, and she holds an undergraduate degree in business with a human resources concentration from Austin Peay State University and an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Her credentials include a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and a SHRM-SCP designation. Additionally, Fleck contributes to the community as a board member for Save The Family, a Mesa-based organization supporting homeless and impoverished families.

Her personal journey, marked by the loss of her father at a young age, shaped her into a self-reliant individual. She took on significant responsibilities in her family, which later influenced her professional ethos. Gilbert Historical Museum Unveils Rich January 2024 Program Lineup

HD SOUTH, home of the Gilbert Historical Museum, is set to host a series of captivating events and programs in January 2024, all aimed at enriching the community's understanding of local and national history. Located at the intersection of Gilbert and Elliot roads, the museum operates in a building that dates back to 1913, making it the oldest in Gilbert and the only one listed on the National Register of Historical Places.

The museum's upcoming exhibits include a fascinating display on the evolution of greeting cards, tracing their history from ancient China and Egypt to modern times. This exhibit, running through February 5, promises to evoke nostalgic memories with its extensive collection. Alongside this, various workshops and programs are scheduled. Notably, children's book author-illustrator Jenifer Tull-Gauger will conduct a reading and workshop focusing on honesty, complemented by an interactive session on creating bliss lists, scheduled for January 6.

Other notable events include a weekly literacy program every Tuesday in January, hosted by AZCEND Family Resources, emphasizing the development of reading habits in children. A unique session on finding humor in life, led by retired professor Duane Roen, is set for January 9.
