Driver Swerves into Construction Zone, Fatally Strikes Worker in Mesa
In Mesa, a tragic accident took the life of a construction worker on Main Street and Greenfield Road. The driver, not suspected of impairment, switched lanes due to a barricade and then swerved to avoid another car.
Unfortunately, they entered a construction zone and struck the worker, who was wearing safety gear. The driver remained on the scene, and the worker, still unidentified, succumbed to injuries. Possible charges hinge on the ongoing investigation.
