While information remains scarce, it has been confirmed by Gilbert Police spokesperson Brenda Carrasco that this heart-wrenching crash resulted in the loss of at least one life, with two additional individuals suffering injuries that required hospitalization.

In response to this tragic occurrence, the southbound lanes of Higley have been sealed off, with the road closure commencing at Warner Road. Motorists are urged to avoid the area throughout the afternoon, as authorities work diligently to manage the situation and conduct their investigations.
