Known for its premium roasted coffees, teas, smoothies, and Fuel® energy drinks, Black Rock Coffee Bar is poised to become the go-to destination for coffee enthusiasts. The 2000-square-foot store boasts the brand's industrial modern design, offering a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for visitors to enjoy their favorite beverages and socialize.

FEMA Conducts Critical Emergency Test on October 4th

FEMA and the FCC will conduct a nationwide test of the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System on October 4th at 11:20 a.m. The test will reach mobile phones via Wireless Emergency Alerts, radio and TV via the Emergency Alert System, and other communication channels.

This ensures that these alert systems are effective in warning the public about national-level emergencies. All major U.S. wireless providers will participate, and your phone should receive the test message if it's on and within range of a participating cell tower. The test will last for 30 minutes, but your phone should receive it only once.

Arizona's Infrastructure Gets a $1 Billion Boost: Road, Bridges, and EV Charging Network on the Horizon

Arizona is set to benefit from more than $1 billion in funding for infrastructure projects, including road and bridge improvements, as well as the development of an electric vehicle (EV) charging network.

The funds, allocated under the bipartisan Infrastructure Law, will support various programs, such as the National Highway Performance Program, Highway Safety Improvement Program, highway freight program, climate mitigation, and resilience initiatives.

Additionally, a new bridge formula will provide $45 million for bridge repairs and replacements, while $16 million will be directed towards expanding the state's EV charging infrastructure. These investments aim to boost the state's economy, enhance tourism, and improve transportation networks.

Beating the Blaze: Gilbert's Heat Relief Network Triples Donations in Record Heatwave

Gilbert residents and businesses joined forces during the scorching summer to donate 20,537 water bottles to the 2023 Heat Relief Network drive, nearly tripling last year's collection.

This initiative aims to prevent heat-related deaths during extreme heatwaves. In addition to the water, Gilbert activated respite centers to offer shelter to the homeless and those with air-conditioning problems.
